From Our Family to Your Boots: The Story of Jordan Trail Guide

Welcome to our backyard. I'm Essa, and along with my brother Ahmad and cousin Basil, we welcome you to the trails we've spent our lives exploring. No script, no corporate filters—just raw adventure, warm tea, and authentic Jordan.

OUR STORY

Our Story: It Started with a 675 km Walk

In 2016, when the Jordan Trail was first established, Essa set out on a wild journey. He became one of the very first three pioneers to hike the entire 675 km route from Umm Qais all the way to Aqaba in one go.

That journey wasn't just a hike; it changed everything. It made us realize that the best way to experience Jordan isn't through a tourist bus window, but with your feet on the ground and local friends by your side.

To bring this dream to life, we kept things simple and close to home:

  • Essa leads the way on the dirt, sharing the deep history and Bedouin secrets of each canyon.

  • Ahmad handles the camp, making sure a warm tent and safe logistics are ready for you at the end of the day.

  • Our cousin Basil runs the wilderness kitchen, turning simple local ingredients into feast-worthy meals over a real woodfire.

When you join us, you aren't just booking a tour. You are stepping into our daily life, sharing our campfire, and directly supporting the rural families and Bedouin hosts who make this magical trail their home.
