The owner of the Jordan Trail Guide organisation is Essa Alammarin, a local guide. He was one of the first 3 people to walk the Jordan Trail from Umm Qais to Aqaba after it was established in 2015, and still leads visitors himself on the trail.
Essa and his team create unique, authentic, and unforgettable experiences for visitors to the Jordan Trail - a journey through Jordan’s diverse nature, culture and traditions.

A trip with us is not just a hike on the Jordan Trail. You will live as locals live, experiencing both nature and culture. You will experience the true Bedouin life, learning from them such things as how to make our coffee, and how to cook a special bread called “arbood”, cooked underneath the ash!
All members of the Jordan Trail Guide team come from families living on the Jordan Trail. That means 100% of the amount paid by your visit stays in the local community.
Our prices are the best in Jordan, because we work by ourselves. We do not organise trips and sell them and take a commission like other companies.

Jordan is home to many different biospheres, from forests to mountains to deserts. With us, you will
experience every one of them.
Join our chefs and learn to make several popular Jordanian dishes, as well as some rare and region-specific ones. At the end of our cooking class enjoy a feast of your own creation.
After dinner in the middle of the desert, you can experience the magical night sky in all its glory. With no other sources of light, the sky and land around you is lit only by the thousands of twinkling stars and planets, with occasional shooting stars burning their tails into the night sky. Our guides will navigate you through the solar system, sharing stories of the constellations and exploring how Bedouins use the stars navigate through the desert.
Throughout your trip with us you will, of course, see and sit with many local people, sharing Bedouin tea over the fire, and tasting their delicious food. Also, if you like, you can spend a day or several days with a Bedouin family.
