The second best part of the Jordan Trail, starting from one of the seven wonders of the world, Petra, all the way to the charming Wadi Rum desert. This part is considered one of the longest parts of the Jordan Trail through the long Jordanian desert. Stargazing in this part the best , sleeping under millions of stars and of course the desert will offer for you a taste of desert silence. The trek into it is the real thing.
The first day takes you from Petra, through the Sabra Valley, connecting the high mountains and the desert sands, wonderful natural scenery. The trail will take us to an ancient Nabataean amphitheater, all the way to the heart of the desert, where there are sand dunes, stones, and desert plants as well. We will walk through the Valley of Colors. Or as we say to it , “a masterpiece of desert art.”
The last day will be in Wadi Ahimer Canyon, one of the natural valleys, showing you the beautiful biological terrain, the end in Wadi Rum.
